Trips, Campers

The first known "Gypsie" trip took place in 1932. These outings were overnight trips out of camp. Boys were loaded onto a hay wagon and taken into the the wilds of South County. Upon returning, every "gypsy" came back to camp full of enthusiasm having spent time in the Nomad.
